BIA-ALCL SUPPORT

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean

Throughout Raylene’s 2 battles with cancer she has met some lifelong friends.  It says a lot to go to someone who knows what you are going thru.  With breast cancer there are support groups everywhere, in Raylene’s case she was a mother with a 3 year old daughter and she was able to easily connect with others going thru the same struggles of breast cancer, but also trying to work, be a mother and a wife.  After being diagnosed with BIA-ALCL it was very different, she felt alone for a very long time, but because of the evolution of social media she has found her tribe, fellow fighters that are willing to help those with questions, they are true advocates, making a difference in bringing awareness and change for BIA-ALCL.

The BIA-ALCL facebook group is a private group that was started by activist Jamee Cook, who suffered from Breast Implant Illness and wanted to start an online community for support for those with BIA-ALCL questions and diagnosis.  The group continues to grow everyday.

Through Just Call Me Ray we hope that you are able to fine the help and support you need. Please contact us if you know of other online support groups.
