Just Call Me Ray has always been a fan of Adam Puchta Winery and every year our love for them grows. Adam Puchta Winery’s annual Doe Camp was the first Friday in November; it was a ladies (and some guys) night out where we gathered to celebrate the outdoors, friendships, and raise money for two nonprofit organizations.
Adam Puchta Winery Shined!
Doe Camp was so much fun: from the vendors to Bra Pong to live music (Pilot Grove – you ROCK) to the amazing raffles, and the FOOD (way to go Parker & crew). The crowd was slightly down this year, but it was chilly outside, plus the Hermann High School football started post-season play (Go Bearcats!). Even though the numbers were down, the supporters were very generous.
Tim, Parker and the entire APW team shined, they ran like a well-oiled machine. We are so grateful for the winery’s donation to Just Call Me Ray. We accepted a check from the Puchta’s for $5,500!!!! At the same time, the Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer was presented with an identical donation.
How are the funds used?
Just Call Me Ray will use the funds to pay it forward. We are set up with 3 platforms to help others:
• Provide funding for breast cancer awareness; help cover the cost of mammograms for those without sufficient insurance coverage.
• Provide funding and education about Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL), cancer linked to textured breast implants.
• Provide cancer patients and their families an opportunity to spend quality time together and create a priceless, memorable experience where they can put aside their cancer hardships and focus on the present time.
Thanks again Adam Puchta Winery, we cannot wait to see what 2020 brings!
